Biodynamic CranioSacral Therapy
Your Experience In The Body
CranioSacral Therapy is an extremely gentle
hands-on touch therapy. The therapist sees you in your
wholeness, and makes contact with your healthy essence.
Through the light touch and relationships he/she listens
to the priorities that are being presented by you. Then,
still using the non-invasive touch, he/she identifies
where and what kind of support to offer.
The intent is to bring balance, movement
and ease.
Techniques are drawn from: Osteopathy and
energy work.
The Science
Every cell in your body expresses a rhythmic
movement, which is fundamental to life. It is called the
craniosacral motion. At the core of your body the cerebrospinal
fluid, which bathes and cushions the brain and spinal
cord, expresses this motion as a tide-like flow, while
all the bones, organs and structures follow their own
particular pattern of movement. This is a very subtle
movement that hands of the trained therapist are able
to perceive.
How Does It Work?
In response to physical and emotional stress
the body's tissue contract. Sometimes, when the shock
is severe, the tissues stay contracted.
Any stresses, which are stored in the body,
will restrict the body's functioning and may create problems
over the years. The effect might be both physical (back
pain, migraines, digestive disorders) and emotional (anxiety,
depression). The therapist's hands are like a mirror and
they reflect back to the body the pattern it is holding,
therefore providing an opportunity to let go of the restrictive
pattern and return to an easier mode of functioning.
This happens at a deep subconscious level
within the body.
Working With Physical
Issues
This work can be used to deal with all sort
of physical ailments like: migraines, lower back pain,
menstrual cramps, TMJ, irritable bowel syndrome, pulled
muscles.
Working With Emotional
Issues
A gentle and wonderful way to work with
emotional trauma, anxiety, stress, and depression. Through
the work you become more grounded, integrated and acquire
inner resources.
Life-Changes
With regular sessions, clients see that
their life patterns shift for the better. They are more
present and grounded, and find more joy in living. These
changes can be profound.
During A Session
During a session you will usually lie fully
clothed on a treatment table and experience the very light
touch of the therapist's hands. This is an extremely gentle
touch therapy, involving no manipulation. The therapist
listens through their hands to the gentle and deep rhythms
of your body and engages in a delicate and subtle dialogue,
which you might become aware of. You will remain comfortable
and in control at all times, since your body will set
the pace of work, and the therapist is just facilitating
and following what the body is willing to reveal. You
might find that the reason you came in for is not what
changes first. It could take a few sessions to get used
to what you are sensing and feeling. For this reason you
may need to consider having a series of treatments to
gain the full benefit of the work, and its cumulative
effect.
Seize The Opportunity
CranioSacral Therapy offers you the opportunity
to be in touch with a layer of the body experience not
normally accessible in every day life. You might notice
a sense of deep relaxation, which will generally last
throughout the session. You might also experience your
body as a 'teacher' leading the therapist to contracted
body areas of past injuries or emotional events. With
this delicate balance you might be able to begin to explore
these 'held' areas and unravel your body's story, so releasing
and allowing improved function of physical and emotional
levels.

The Healing Power of Imagery
Unlock Your Treasure
Background
Many claim that the imagination is "unreal".
On the other hand, the Hebrew mystics held imagination
as very real. It is considered "realer than real".
Sources
Imagery is strongly connected to mystical
sources. Practiced differently, it could turn into a New
Age technique. This profound wisdom helps you tap into
a source of light that is above the limitation of the
physical world.
What Is It?
Close your eyes and recall a childhood memory,
are you using your words, your thoughts process, or do
you see an image? Before you learned how to speak your
experiences were energetic, and involved the subconscious
and the body.
Exploration
Language and words are used to analyze and
give interpretation; Imagery is the experiential language
of the senses and the body.
Imagery leads you to shed the veils, the masks, and the
insecurities that keep you out of touch with your powerful
self.
Transformation
"The most important thing in the world"
implies wisdom master Nachman of Bratzlav "is to
be willing to give up who you are for who you might become".
Imagery is not a fantasy. Imagery is a spiritual
reality.
In our work you will:
-
Deconstruct negative images of yourself.
-
Exit the caves of contracted, fixed
self-images.
-
Enter the rainbow of new fluid life
choices.
How Is It Done?
A short imagery exercise is given. It creates
a small shock which weakens your habitual wall of defense,
thus initiating a movement in the direction of healing.
Imagery And The
Body
Imagery is language that connects the mind,
emotions, and the body. It has the potential to transform
your health, based on the fact that your body has the
wisdom to produce necessary physiological responses.
When turning your attention inward, you
can create an image that will stimulate your body. For
example, when you need mental clarity you can imagine
that you exhale all that disturbs you like gray smoke
dissipating in the atmosphere. You do not consciously
command your body, or ask your brain to release chemical
substances, yet all this happens because of your intent
(clarity) and your image (action).
Mental Imagery
And The Emotions
Imagery enables you to see and feel your
inner truth and uncover the root of any problem. It releases
negative blocks in your psyche and creates a new reality.
Change
One of the principles of Imagery is that
the inner affects the outer. By imagining a change in
your inner world you catalyze a change in your outer reality.
Here is an exercise created by Colette Aboulker Muscat
(which is a direct lineage to my teacher Dr. Catherine
Shainberg):
Close your eyes and breathe out three times.
Find yourself in a cocoon, knowing how it feels to be
in there and how much you can move around.
Now break the cocoon and find your way out.
Begin to stretch and with each movement emit a sound.
Sense all the different ways your body is stretching and
sounding.
When you are finished, open your eyes.

Open Your Dream
Wake Up And Dream
Our night dreams are the mirror image of
your awakened state. By looking at your dreams you will
be able to discover things about yourself that only the
dream world will be able to show you. For example, an emotion
or part of yourself you avoid dealing with in waking life
may appear in a dream as a hungry character who demands
attention. Over time, as we work together, the images might
begin to change. Your dream images are powerful truths that
hold the power to stimulate a powerful shift in your waking
life.
Working interactively with your dream enables
you to become more fully conscious of who you are and who
you might become. Thus in the future, when you pay attention
to the dream it may serve important healing functions.
Interestingly, the Hebrew work for dream-
chalom- shares the same Hebrew root as the word chalim,
which implies healing and is closely related to the word
for illness (machala).
By uncovering the language of your dream you
learn about:
-
Your relationship with the world and yourself.
-
The physical and emotional challenges
you are facing in your life.
-
Your authentic inner landscape that is
hidden from your analytical, wake life, reality.

Morphology
What Do Your Face And Your Body Reveal?
In Hebrew the word face - PANIM- has a double
meaning:a face, and the connections to the life within.
The face is the means through which the invisible becomes
visible, it is the link connecting the secrets of soul
to the language of the body.
Morphology is a remarkable tool for diagnosis
and self-knowledge. It is the study of human potential
the way it manifests in the forms and shapes of face and
body.
Your body's structure reveals basic character
and temperament. As we work together, you will be guided
to make choices on your inherent potential and strength.
Study Of Human
Shape
Studying Morphology points you in the direction
of:
-
Identifying, connecting, and respecting
other people differences.
-
Create life choices that correspond with
your inherent temperament and potential
-
Learn to trust, recognize, and identify
your body language.
-
Develop an instinctual response to others.
-
Develop you bodily intuition.
Good for:
Parents, artists, actors, therapists, business owners,
doctors, and more
.
